On Good Friday, 6th April 2012, the happy egg co are hosting a cooking extravaganza at Whiteleys shopping centre in London in aid of Caudwell Children’s Charity with BBC Masterchef winner and brand ambassador, Mat Follas.

It’s set to be a fantastic event, with Mat showcasing simple happy egg recipes for passers-by, whilst much loved CBBC Newsround presenter Leah Gooding and children’s entertainer Mad Dominic will be dazzling people with a variety of entertainment including balloon art and trivia. People will also get the chance to join the entertainment on stage and have a go at attempting some of Mat’s dishes themselves before Mat and Leah have a ‘cook off’ against each other. Members of the audience will also get a once-in-a-lifetime chance to win 6 VIP tickets to a West End performance of The Wizard of Oz and sit in Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber’s personal box at the theatre.

Caudwell Children’s Charity is a wonderful charity that aims to improve the lives of disabled children in the UK. They provide specialist treatment, equipment and therapy programmes, as well as being a general source of support for families who cannot get it elsewhere. They also run the annual Destination Dreams holiday for children with terminal illnesses and have big name ambassadors such as Robbie Williams, Elton John, Liz Hurley and Peter Andre.
